We're pleased to announce that Fozzapalooza Web Studio is now Simply Chic Creative!   We've got a new name, a new look. . . and a new website.  You can now find us at:

So what's new?  Well, we're still offering both custom e-commerce & informational website design in addition to pre-made templates.  Over the coming weeks we'll be working on creating more new limited edition pre-made website template designs to go along with our OOAK designs.

We're also pleased to have recently launched a new Zazzle print shoppe, where we offer a variety of hip &  stylish pre-made print designs that you can customize and make your own. We invite you to check it out.

We've also launched a new blog -- simplychiccreative.blogspot.com, so we'd like to ask all our subscribers to please re-subscribe to our new blog, either by RSS/reader or via email. All you need to do is visit our new blog at the link above, and click the appropriate link in the sidebar under "Connect With Us".

Just a quick mention that if you also followed us as fozzapalooza on Twitter, you may have noticed that you're now automatically following us as ItsSimplyChic.

We'll also be permanently moving to our new domain  simplychiccreative.com in the very near future.  For now both sites will be up until the switch is made.

Last but not least, the studio will be closing Thursday, Jan. 28 and will reopen on Monday, Feb. 8.

Whimsy Girls is an online boutique that specializes in a wide variety of dress-up clothing & accessories for young girls, and aims to be your one-stop shop for all your fairytale dress-up needs. Owner Sean Wilson wanted a fresh, whimsical yet professional look - and we delivered!

Sneak peek - LGAM

Here's a sneek peek at an upcoming custom design project that will be launching soon. It's an informational site for a property & asset management firm in Texas, for a previous Fozzapalooza client.

We opted for a modern, clean & minimal Web 2.0-influenced look which also included some animated menu & slideshow effects using jQuery. We opted for this approach for a couple reasons:

1. jQuery has a much smaller footprint, quicker loading & less client-side compatibility issues than using Flash and other techniques

2. The client can easily update the slideshow or menus by making some very simple HTML updates, which allows for easier site maintenance for the client
